Kathryn

Hello! My name is Kathryn and I completed my internship during the winter 2015-2016 trimester. As a student who had never worked in the industry before, I was quite nervous on my first day at Carina e Dolce. When the day was finished I was completely comfortable with Andrea and ready to see what the trimester would bring. Throughout my internship I learned so many techniques and was able to tackle all of my struggles like writing in buttercream and covering cakes in fondant. These days I complete those tasks with ease. Andrea gave me the confidence to know that I can work in this industry and hold my own, and for that I will always be grateful. This internship was special for me because not only did I gain some great skills, but I became a part of an amazing family.
